Founded by Srijan Kumari, Lokal Indian is a modern Indian fashion house built for a generation that wants to feel connected to where they come from without being boxed into what Indian clothing is expected to look like.

Srijan’s design language comes from a deep love for Indian textiles, hand-done details, everyday comfort and the quiet confidence of women who carry culture in their own way. Lokal Indian is her attempt to bring Indian craft into modern wardrobes — not as costume, not as occasion wear, but as something you can live in.

We do not see Indian fashion as only traditional. We see it as fluid, young, emotional and alive.
